"In late 2004, I was pleased to be involved with the testing of the first prototype of the Leopard all carbon bike and components. I found the complete bike to be very light, responsive and extremely stiff, yet comfortable. It climbs, sprints and descends extremely well. It's great that the company can deliver a bike the performs as well as any I've ridden at a price point well below comparable carbon bikes."

- Darren Baker (5 time US National Team member, veteran of 5 World Championships, 1997 Vuelta Espana, 1996 - 1997 Member USPS Cycling team)

"I've been training and racing the Leopard L1 for the last month (3 Pro/1/2 road races and 3 Pro 1/2 crits). The bike handles extremely well and is one of the stiffest bikes I've sprinted on. The fork is especially stiff laterally without any compromise in ride. Great bike."

- Chris Hipp (Cat 1 Sprinter, as of 3/15/05 ranked 16th USCF National Criterium, 7th USCF Northern CA Criterium)

"...Just rode the Lake Alpine loop. The bike is sweet! So fast up and down. I don't have a computer on it yet, but it felt great. I think you've got something here..."

- Dan Reynolds (Expert cross country, Cat 4 road)

"...Thanks again for the great bike, can't wait to get back on it. I'm thrilled to be on a bike that actually responds to my input, and exhibits absolutely no spongy handling characteristics. Tight on the descents, and light on the climbs..."

- Chris Oliver (Expert cross country, Cat 4 road)

"This bike is awesome! Totally smooth, but really stiff and responsive. Light on the climbs, but totally solid on the descents. By far the best I've ridden. I did two crits today and had some of my best finishes ever! This totally rocks! Thanks again, I'm so stoked with this bike!"

- Steve Smith, Solvang (Cat 3 road)

"In my first time trial this year I shaved 1:15 off last year's time. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance. Especially compared to my old bike, I feel like it's no effort on the hills."

"Guys,

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my new bike. The ride and performance are so far superior than my previous race bikes. When I showed up at the weekly crit the look of it caused quite a stir and lots of questions because it doesn't look like all the other bikes. In the first race I was able to get one of the primes out of a bunch sprint. There were no tactics or maneuvering, it was a pure drag race. I have not been able to out sprint these guys before but the stiffness of the frame (especially the bottom bracket) allowed me to put more power to the road. The handling through the corners makes it much more comfortable to mix it up in close quarters and high speed. It's a nice combination of quick precision and stability.

During training I am very pleased with how well it climbs and descends. Again, the stiffness helps with the climbs. I am a notoriously poor descender but I am going faster and with more confidence than ever before.

On my long training rides I am experiencing more comfort than I ever thought possible. I had accepted a sore butt as a fact of cycling life but not anymore. I did 75 miles over some very bumpy roads and my toosh was as happy as it is on the sofa.

The topper of it all happened this week at our crit. All of the qualitiesof this bike (efficiency and handling) allowed me to make a successful break from the peloton. my break partner is a pro triathlete. We built the gap up to 20 seconds by the last lap. Coming around the last corner the other guy and I lined up for a straight shootout to the line. My Leopard just kept on accelerating and I was able to take him by about 2 feet. I know that none of that would have happened on any of my previous race bikes.

Thanks guys for making a bike that, not only, looks good but also delivers the goods."

"WOW!

I got the bike Monday, and the pedals didn't arrive till yesterday, so it has been sitting at my desk screaming at me for 3 days! Had I planned better, or known the DHL guys would be so fast, I would have just gone out and bought pedals at the local shop.

But I made it out today for the inaugural ride, and did 30 miles, and really like the bike. I needed to fiddle with a couple of adjustments to dial in the seat height, but think the bike is incredible. I really like the feel, and obviously this bike is lightning fast compared to my old road bike!

One of the bike couriers stopped by to check it out for about 15 minutes, and even walkie-talkied a couple of the other couriers to tell them to come check it out, so obviously this thing is turning heads just sitting here. (He actually asked me to find out if it can come with Campy gruppo, or if it is available as a frame only)

I own a marketing firm and the designers are in love with it too, so you were right about the paint job! If you ever want to trade bike parts for brochure, let me know! I love the bike."

"Oh my God!!! This afternoon at approximately 4:10 (CDT) I took possession of what is, according to A., the "most kick-ass bike in Amarillo"!! I can't tell you how much I love this bike and all I've done so far is take it around the block a time or two. I actually let A. ride it and he says it may be the first Leopard in town, but certainly not the last! The bike is beautiful and it works just like it is supposed to, down to your markings for the seat height. We will forward you a picture of me and my new ride as soon as I slow down enough to take a picture. I can't thank you enough for your help with this. By the way, the Terry seat is a lovely touch and I appreciate you putting it on. Can't wait to get the logos on vehicles so we can do a little advertising! Thanks again from this happy Texas girl."

"Well, I had to drop a "Thank you" for A.) the excellent bike you and your group put together for M. and B.) the incredible helpfulness in the purchase and sizing of her ride. We really put the post in...to your mark...leveled the bars and stuck her pedals on and it was a perfect fit. I know she's mailed you, but I had to let you know she has literally smiled and giggled all evening and this morning. We couldn't be more pleased with the bike OR the service. And thanks for the "T". It's very cool and I look forward to wearing it. Now...when the Schwinn gets a few more miles on it..."

- M.R. and A.H., Amarillo, TX

"It is about the bike. The Leopard bike that is! Just when I thought that my Trek was everything I wanted in a bike, the leopard came along. It is fast, light, and responsive. At times I am surprised that pulled off a corner sosmoothly. Then I remember, oh it was the bike, and I just enjoy the ride. I am having such a good time with my pink Leopard, it would be a real challenge to ride anything else. So the next time I race a triathlon, if you catch a glimpse of pink, that was me and my Leopard!"

"I had a great ride in to SF this morning. Of course it is pretty hard not to on a cool clear morning riding through the hills of Marin on a new bike! I even woke up a half hour early - the bike must have been calling. It rode beautifully. All the little pavement cracks and expansion joints on the GG bridge were mellowed yet there was no wishy washy feeling at all. When I got to the top of the hill above Mill Valley I had three gears left thanks to the compact crack. Having the big gap between the large and small ring will take a little getting used to but the larger range is very nice. I would not usually go blasting down a steep descent on a new bike but I couldn't help it. The bike felt solid all the way. I'm happy as can be."

"Gentlemen:

I received shipment of my Leopard ( Leopard-M1_Dura-Ace, Topolino CX2.0 wheelset, Look Keo Carbon CrMolly pedals) in July 2007. My experience with Leopard Cycles has been excellent. My expectations concerning the product (quality, value and performance), sales, customer service and shipping were all met and many times exceeded.

The Product. This is a beautiful bike. The M1 frame is a work of art. The frame tubes flow from one shape to another in smooth lines as you move along their lengths. The Topolino CX2.0 wheelset is incredible; light, comfortable, tough and really cool to look at!

Customer service. Communication was via email. All of my questions were promptly answered in a personalized and professional manner. I received excellent advice especially with fitting and component choices. After approximately two weeks of riding it became apparent that I required a shorter stem length, a new one was shipped to me in a matter of days….great service.

Shipping. The bike arrived in the AIRCADDY box on time and in perfect condition. The pedals that I order were included in the box. I was riding the bike within 30 minutes no problems.

Performance. I delayed writing this review until I had some saddle time on the bike. The cycling season in Minnesota is all to brief but I was able to put several hundred miles on the bike before the snow starting flying. Hands down this is the most comfortable bike I’ve ridden. The frame is stiff and very responsive (takes a little getting use to) and yet comfortable with excellent bump absorbing properties. I also managed to hit some bone jarring potholes (as common as mosquitoes in MN) and the frame and wheels held up just fine. I look forward to putting many more miles on the Leopard in 2008 and will give you an update on durability later this year.

Keep up the good work you guys!

A satisfied, and impressed, customer."
